Living the dream at Random Ranch on the magnificent Bruce Peninsula,
The Ranch landed in our hands in 2013 due to a chance encounter, thus dubbed Random Ranch. Alpacas were added in 2017. They are a nice fit, as they are low maintenance, easy to work with, interesting and fun to be around. We started with 5 Alpacas in 2017. Two crias were born in May 2018, one in June 2019 plus 4 more gals added. We usually have a couple of crias per year. The alpacas all have names and unique personalities.
Our shearing occurs once per year, in the spring. The fleece then gets sorted, cleaned and sent out for various purposes such as yarn, socks and more.
You can see our products at the Lions Head Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Tobermory Marketplace on Wednesdays. Farm visits can be arranged by contacting us.
